The Nightmare of Agenda 21

Yesterday I did a radio program with Dale Williams and Attorney Co-Host Paul Toscano.  It was without doubt one of the worst radio programs I ever did.  The program starts at about 7:04 am following the top of the hour commercials.  I woke up literally at 7:00 am.  I had time to fire up my computer, find the phone number to call in my inbox and to make a pot of coffee before the program started.  I didn't get a cup of that coffee until the first break - sometime around 7:15.  Suffice it to say, I would have had a hard time describing what I was wearing let alone talking about Agenda 21 which is the biggest conspiracy and institutionalized fraud ever perpetrated on a country and a people so this is my attempt to make restitution for the time anybody lost sharing my nightmare.   Since this is a rant, I'm just going to give it to you straight and I'll follow up with all the links in the piece I'll publish in a few days - what I'm currently working on.

Richard Nixon signed the legislation to create the EPA.  It was sponsored by Henry "Scoop" Jackson and passed in 1969 and became law in 1970.   Originally, the purpose of the EPA was to provide guidance to the agencies of government as it pertained to environmental considerations for government projects.  The legislation created the Council for Environmental Quality under the Executive Branch to advise the president on environmental issues.   The Council was funded through the Interior Department and the Chairman was to be at the level of a Deputy Secretary. 

[Side Note:  Our government uses a third man down strategy.  By that, I mean it's really the third man down in the chain of command who has the power.  The appointees of government are more like sock puppets who put on a show for the public.  When Congress has hearings, they rarely call anyone below the appointee to testify.  That way, nobody ever has to lie about what the agency is really doing.  The Congress can play, "What's My Line" with their five minutes of questioning somebody who really has no idea beyond a summary overview anyway.  That's a tip to researchers - look at the Deputy Secretaries and Under Secretaries because that's where the action is.]

The first Chairman of the Council for Environmental Quality was Russell E. Train.  At the time the EPA was created, Russell Train was President of the Conservation Foundation.   Laurence Rockefeller founded the Conservation Foundation in 1948.

Mr. Train's 50 years of work on behalf of the world's wildlife stems from the safaris that he took to East Africa in the late 1950s. He returned a champion of the wildlife conservation cause, taking leadership positions with several organizations.

He founded the Wildlife Leadership Foundation (1959) in order to establish effective wildlife parks and reserves. In 1961 he founded the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) and was a founding trustee of the World Wildlife Fund-US. He was chairman of the AWF from 1961 to 1969. He became president of the Conservation Foundation (1965), which works to increase environmental awareness in federal policy-making process.

Mr. Train was the first chairman of the Council on Environmental Quality (1970). From 1973 to 1977 he served under Presidents Nixon and Ford as the second administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. He is the author of Politics, Pollution, and Pandas, An Environmental Memoir.

He has received numerous awards for his work. President George H. W. Bush presented Mr. Train with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1991. His other awards include the Albert Schweitzer Medal of the Animal Welfare Institute, Aldo Leopold Medal of the Wildlife Society, Conservationist of the Year of the National Wildlife Federation in 1974 and 1988, the John and Alice Tyler Ecology Award, Public Service Medal of the National Academy of Science, the Elizabeth Haub Prize in international environmental law, the Lindbergh Award, Environmental Law Institute Award, the Heinz Family Foundation Chairman's Medal, the Keystone Center Leadership Award, and the Order of the Golden Ark (Netherlands). He has received numerous honorary degrees.

He was an advisor to Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Ford on matters of environmental conservation and outdoor recreation, and he worked on federal commissions set up to help develop national conservation and environmental policies and programs. In 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower appointed him chairman of the Outdoor Recreation Resources Review Commission (ORRRC), which charted ways of meeting the nation's outdoor recreation needs through the year 2000. He was a special emissary for President Lyndon Johnson in the effort that led to creation of the National Redwoods Park in California, and he served as chairman of President Nixon's Citizens' Advisory Committee on Environmental Quality, successor to a similar group which he headed under President Johnson...

Among other conservation organizations in whose activities he has taken an active role are the New York Zoological Society, of which he is now honorary chairman; American Committee for International Wildlife Protection; Resources for the Future, Inc.; and the National Park Foundation. With Fairfield Osborn, head of the New York Zoological Society, he helped to organize The Conservation Foundation in 1948. In 1965 he was instrumental in organizing the National Recreation and Park Association, formed through a merger of five important organizations, and served as its first president.

Presidential Citizens' Advisory Committee

When President Johnson set up the Citizens' Advisory Committee on Recreation and Natural Beauty in 1966, he chose Laurance S. Rockefeller to be its chairman. The 12-member committee received a broad mandate from the president, who said its task was "to tell us where to go from here" in the fields of outdoor recreation and natural beauty.

...Rockefeller also was chairman of the Citizens' Committee's Electric Utility Industry Task Force on Environment, which sought practical action to eliminate conflicts between natural beauty and the industry. Its report in 1968 gave emphasis particularly to the placement of distribution lines underground and the location of nuclear energy plants.

In 1969, President Richard Nixon created the Citizens' Advisory Committee on Environmental Quality, replacing the Committee on Outdoor Recreation and Natural Beauty. The committee's new name reflected the emphasis on protection and improvement of all aspects of the environment, from air and water to open space, the look of industrial plants and the quiet of neighborhoods. Rockefeller served as chairman of the new 15-member committee for four years and after resigning as chairman, continued to serve as a member for three more years.

  On the international side of this false environmental movement, was the formation of the World Wildlife Fund. 

A "small but influential group of Europeans" founded the World Wildlife Federation in April of 1961 allegedly to raise funds to "save the animals".  They opened their office for business at the headquarters the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources in Morges, Switzerland.  Their first initiative calling for support was called the Morges Manifesto.  H.R.H. Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands was the first President.

H.R.H. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was President of the British National Appeal which was the first national affiliate of the WWF. 

The second national affiliate of the WWF was opened in December of 1961 in Washington DC.  The first President was Ira Gabrielson and the first Vice President was Russell E. Train.

Kurt Waldheim was appointed Secretary-General of the United Nations for a five-year term beginning on 1 January 1972. The Security Council had recommended the appointment on 21 December 1971 and the General Assembly approved it by acclamation on the following day.
From 1956 to 1960, Mr. Waldheim represented Austria in Canada, first as Minister Plenipotentiary and later as Ambassador. From 1960 to 1962 he was head of the Political Department (West) in the Austrian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, subsequently becoming Director-General for Political Affairs until June 1964.

The Secretary-General also opened and addressed a number of major international conferences convened under United Nations auspices. These include the third session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Santiago, April 1972), the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment (Stockholm, June 1972), the Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea (Caracas, June 1974), the World Population Conference (Bucharest, August 1974) and the World Food Conference (Rome, November 1974).

The Secretary-General participated in Security Council meetings held away from Headquarters, in Africa (Addis Ababa, January 1972) and in Latin America (Panama, March 1973).

‘Ransomware’ Locks Computers, Demands Payment

There is a new “drive-by” virus on the Internet, and it often carries a fake message—and fine—purportedly from the FBI.

“We’re getting inundated with complaints,” said Donna Gregory of the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), referring to the virus known as Reveton ransomware, which is designed to extort money from its victims.

Reveton is described as drive-by malware because unlike many viruses—which activate when users open a file or attachment—this one can install itself when users simply click on a compromised website. Once infected, the victim’s computer immediately locks, and the monitor displays a screen stating there has been a violation of federal law.

The bogus message goes on to say that the user’s Internet address was identified by the FBI or the Department of Justice’s Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section as having been associated with child pornography sites or other illegal online activity. To unlock their machines, users are required to pay a fine using a prepaid money card service.

“Some people have actually paid the so-called fine,” said the IC3’s Gregory, who oversees a team of cyber crime subject matter experts. (The IC3 was established in 2000 as a partnership between the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center. It gives victims an easy way to report cyber crimes and provides law enforcement and regulatory agencies with a central referral system for complaints.)

“While browsing the Internet a window popped up with no way to close it,” one Reveton victim recently wrote to the IC3. “The window was labeled FBI and said I was in violation of one of the following: illegal use of downloaded media, under-age porn viewing, or computer-use negligence. It listed fines and penalties for each and directed me to pay $200 via a MoneyPak order. Instructions were given on how to load the card and make the payment. The page said if the demands were not met, criminal charges would be filed and my computer would remain locked on that screen.”

The Reveton virus, used by hackers in conjunction with Citadel malware—a software delivery platform that can disseminate various kinds of computer viruses—first came to the attention of the FBI in 2011. The IC3 issued a warning on its website in May 2012. Since that time, the virus has become more widespread in the United States and internationally. Some variants of Reveton can even turn on computer webcams and display the victim’s picture on the frozen screen.

“We are getting dozens of complaints every day,” Gregory said, noting that there is no easy fix if your computer becomes infected. “Unlike other viruses,” she explained, “Reveton freezes your computer and stops it in its tracks. And the average user will not be able to easily remove the malware.”

The IC3 suggests the following if you become a victim of the Reveton virus:

• Do not pay any money or provide any personal information.
• Contact a computer professional to remove Reveton and Citadel from your computer.
• Be aware that even if you are able to unfreeze your computer on your own, the malware may still operate in the background. Certain types of malware have been known to capture personal information such as user names, passwords, and credit card numbers through embedded keystroke logging programs.
• File a complaint and look for updates about the Reveton virus on the IC3 website.

Part 2: His First Job and the FBI Files

J. Edgar Hoover was just 18 years old when he took his first job in government—an entry-level position as a messenger in the orders department of the Library of Congress.

It was October 13, 1913. No one knew it at the time, but an important foundation in Hoover’s future career as FBI Director (and in the Bureau itself) was being laid.

Young Hoover excelled at his work. He impressed his supervisors and was awarded multiple raises. His position in the orders department—which acquired books, manuscripts, and other items for the Library’s collections—included the opportunity to work in the cataloging department and the loan division. The Library was a half-mile from his house and allowed him to attend law school at night, where he was studying hard and learning quickly.

On July 25, 1917, Hoover left the Library, and he took a job the next day as a clerk in the Department of Justice, where his story becomes better known.

Hoover’s experiences with the Library of Congress and its innovative organization of knowledge have often been credited with influencing the creation of the FBI’s own knowledge management system—the FBI Files. The filing system he helped architect became almost legendary for its efficiency and over the years has been fodder for books, news stories, movies, and even conspiracy theories of all sorts that exaggerate the size and scope of the files.

But were the FBI files modeled on the Library of Congress system? Actually, no. The FBI file system is based on the type of case the file covers. Each file is designated by a classification number—for example, kidnapping cases begin with the number 7, espionage cases with the number 65. This is only vaguely similar to the Library’s system. Also, these classifications were already being used by the Department of Justice; Hoover’s Bureau simply adapted them for its own purposes.

What is true, however, is that Hoover’s Library experience did have a significant impact on how the FBI’s filing system was used and adapted. In a 1951 letter referencing his former position, Hoover wrote, “[T]his job …trained me in the value of collating material. It gave me an excellent foundation for my work in the FBI where it has been necessary to collate information and evidence.”

This ability to synthesize information was key. In 1921, as assistant director, Hoover oversaw the reform of the Bureau’s files, which were in disarray after several organizational restructurings. For the reform, Hoover took something old—the Department of Justice system—and something new—indexing the files as they were created. And then he used something borrowed—from the Library of Congress: the idea of extensive cross-references within the card indices that provided access to the content of the FBI files. Each cross-reference pointed back to the original file and allowed for comparison of information across all files. So an agent or clerk could find a person’s name, an event, a location, or any number of other things, even if it was spread across dozens of different files at Headquarters and in the field offices. In a profession that requires intelligence at its fingertips and the ability to know everything that’s available, this system was crucial to the success of Hoover’s Bureau as it grew and adapted to its expanding mission.

In the end, Hoover’s work at the Library helped the Bureau to create a file system that—in comparison to others of the day—was “unique unto itself,” as one records manager noted in 1941 when surveying the state of records across the nation.

I ALMOST DIED A FEW WEEKS AGO

I Almost Died A Few Weeks Ago, or so I had myself convinced! It happened like this:

Pastor was at the Youth Extravaganza with our church teens and I took the opportunity to get a few projects completed. As the afternoon wore on, I thought it would be a good idea to get my car washed.

Having grown up in the mid-west, I really appreciate a good thunderstorm but, since I live in California I don’t get to enjoy one very often. To satisfy my longing I take my car through the car wash. As I proceed through the different cycles— wash, rinse and dry—I usually close my eyes and imagine that I am in the middle of a good thunderstorm. Living in California, you “have to do what you have to do,” right?

On this particular Friday I happened to be the third car in line. There is never a line and Ithought that these people should have known I was coming and they should have taken care of their vehicles a few hours ago! Finally, it was my turn. I pulled my car forward and closed my eyes for my “imaginary thunderstorm.” Within seconds, I began to smell an incredibly gassy odor. I sat through the wash cycle but the smell was nearly unbearable, in fact, I had to cover my nose and mouth and actually began to feel a little light-headed. By the time I hit the drying cycle, all I could think was that, “I need to get out of this car wash and I need to get out NOW!” As I pulled out I opened all the windows and headed towards home not feeling very well and still puzzled by the strange odor.

After taking my car through this car wash I always come home and dry off my car and vacuum it out. (My husband has taught me well.) As I was drying off my car I noticed that my towel was covered with black “stuff.” It didn’t take me long to figure out that this was the exhaust from my car and the odor was actually carbon monoxide! I took several deep breaths to clear my lungs and was certain that if I had stayed in that car wash any longer I would have died!

I called my husband to let him know what happened and to let him know how thankful HE could be that I was still alive. I called my sister and both of my daughters to tell them they should never go to this car wash. However, with the suggestion from her mom that the grandkids would probably enjoy the “rain,” Tabitha was already in line waiting her turn for the car wash. She was about to put her money into the machine and pull forward when she said, “Mom, didn’t you read the directions? It says that you are supposed to turn your car OFF after you enter!” What? I had never noticed that sign before! In fact, I had never read the directions; as it seemed self-explanatory. After all, how hard could it be? I realized at that moment that I could have saved myself a TON of extra work and the scary thought of dying IF I had just read the directions.

Later that evening, as I reflected back over the events of the day, I couldn’t help but be reminded that we as Christians are often just as careless and negligent when it comes to reading and obeying God’s instructions given to us in the Bible. Let me ask you:

Have you been reading the Bible on a daily basis and applying its truths to your life?

It will help you be a better wife, mother, grandmother, church member, daughter, sister, neighbor, friend and every other title God has given you. May God help you and bless you as you spend time reading the directions.

Try doing the following:

• Pray before you read and ask God to open your heart to what you are about to read.
• Read when you are most alert. If 5:00 am is not a good time for you then choose a time that works well for you.
• Have a notebook and pen so you can underline scriptures that speak to your heart and convict you. Use your notebook to write down a truth or a thought that you will want to carry with you for the day.
• Have a dictionary or a Bible commentary so you can look up words or verses you don’t understand.
• Use 3 x 5 cards to write out verses you are memorizing for the week.
• Have a Bible reading schedule. I like to read a portion from the Old and New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs. You might want to divide this up into two different times of the day. (Old Testament and Psalms in the morning and New Testament and Proverbs in the evening).
• Share what God spoke to you about with someone else. You will be an encouragement to them.
• If you miss a day, don’t quit! Start again tomorrow.

Two Receive Life Sentences for Preying on Aspiring Models

Some of the aspiring young models thought they were getting the chance of a lifetime when they showed up in South Florida to audition for a man they believed to be a legitimate talent scout. Instead, they were drugged and raped on camera—and the resulting videos were sold on the Internet.

The two men responsible for this depraved scheme—one a former police officer and the other a self-described porn star—were sentenced to 12 consecutive life terms in prison earlier this year, thanks in part to the investigative efforts of Special Agent Alexis Carpinteri, Det. Nikki Fletcher of the Miramar Police Department, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.

“These are probably two of the worst offenders I have ever seen,” said Carpinteri, who works in our Miami office. “There were many more victims than the multiple women who were represented at trial.”

Beginning in 2006, if not before, the subjects used Internet modeling sites as their “hunting grounds” to lure potential victims, Carpinteri said. They understood the industry well enough to impersonate representatives from major multinational companies.

The young women, many aged 18 to 22, agreed to come to Miami believing they were auditioning for a commercial for a prominent liquor company. They were persuaded to come alone because they were told family or boyfriends would be a distraction. The former police officer, Lavont Flanders Jr., “was not stupid,” Det. Fletcher said. “He knew how to manipulate people, and he could be charming.”

The women were told they would be doing a test shoot in which they would have to drink the liquor they would be advertising. But the alcohol was laced with a date-rape drug that made them extremely compliant and often left them with no memories of what had happened to them. After the drugs took effect, the women were encouraged to sign model release forms.

Based on those consent forms, Carpinteri said, “The subjects thought they were going to get away with it.” Initially, investigators and prosecutors were “disturbed by the videos” because it appeared the victims were willing participants. But the raw footage told a different story. “It was clear the women were drugged and often barely conscious,” Carpinteri said.

“Because of their memory loss, a lot of the victims swore that nothing had happened,” she added, “until we showed them the videos.” Other women woke up in their cars the next morning bleeding, covered in vomit, and disoriented. Some notified police.

In 2007, Flanders and his partner, Emerson Callum, were arrested and charged by the state of Florida with multiple counts including sexual assault and distribution of a controlled substance. Released on bond pending trial, the pair eventually began victimizing women again.

That’s when Carpinteri and Fletcher began working on the case to painstakingly unravel the scam. They identified and interviewed victims from various locations and pieced together evidence from police reports, rape treatment center examinations, DNA results, and cell phone records to help build a case for federal prosecutors. The subjects were indicted federally in 2011 and later convicted by a jury of sexual battery, human trafficking, and other charges.

“This was a difficult case,” Fletcher said, “but it had a good outcome. It’s very satisfying to know that these two individuals will never do this to anyone again.”

The Freedom Between Your Ears

In columns past I have often quoted one of the most quotable characters in American history. Will Rogers will always be my favorite. After all this palaver in the past couple of years, it is only fair that I offer something original that doesn’t miss the political mark by much, something that I can actually claim as my own. I thought of it this morning, said it out loud, and it sounded dumb enough to use in my column.

Readers who follow this column know that last spring our team put up a satirical campaign for congress, and we did get plenty if mileage out of that one, though we are not yet finished. I intend to declare as a write-in candidate in order to get a few more laughs.

Yeah, yeah, I know. You are holding your breath, waiting for my newfound original quote. It has probably been said before, but if so, I ain’t never heard it, and can therefore attribute the quote to myself, and call it original, whether it is or not.

The quote has to do with my constant criticism of Congressman Simpson, who I have no reason not to like. True, I am adamantly opposed to his CIEDRA bill, as anyone with any amount of sense should be.

However, a full 70% of republican voters in the primary sided up with Mike as opposed to Chick Heileson. And, a big throng of democrats registered as republicans and voted for Mike to help make sure he won the primary. The democrats like Congressman Simpson as much or better than the republicans do.

It is hard to criticize that kind of popularity, and most politicians would be envious of such numbers. Well, just because I took Mike to task about a few of my pet peeves doesn’t mean I don’t like him. And, in all fairness, when I attacked him for not doing anything about the hundreds of thousands of tons of potatoes that rotted on the ground a few years back, well, that was downright dirty of me, because there are a hell of a lot of other people and organizations that didn’t do a damned thing about it either.

That would include the Mormons, the Catholics, all the other churches; the Farm Bureau, the Potato Growers Association, the Governor; our Senators, the entire legislature, and the United Nations, as well as myself. I never said a mumbling word about it at the time.

It ain’t Mike Simpson’s fault that there are two kinds of potatoes, and I don’t mean Russets as opposed to Reds. There are contract spuds and open spuds. Spuds under contract get sold regardless of market conditions, and people who grow open spuds sometimes take a bath.

Still, there is absolutely no excuse for any of us to sit by and watch that kind of waste happen when there are so many hungry mouths in the world to feed. Yes. You can say the same thing about excess milk that often is dumped on the ground when the market goes south. With as many people as are starving plumb to death in far flung corners of the world, there had ought to be a way to keep excess ag products from going completely to waste.

No, that’s not my famous quote. The quote has to do with me taking pot shots at Mike. Trust me friends, plenty of people have taken pot shots at me, but in this line of work, ‘it doesn’t matter what they say about you, as long as they spell your name right’.

No, that’s NOT the famous quote, either. That one was invented long before I was even born. Mike, I don’t want you to think I’m opposed to you being the Congressman. That is one job I wouldn’t want.

“What?!” you say. “Jack if you don’t want to be a Congressman, then how come you keep running for Congress?”

Former Cuyahoa County Commissioner Sentenced to 28 Years in Prison for Racketeering, Other Crimes

CLEVELAND—Former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora was sentenced to 28 years in prison today after a jury convicted him earlier this year of racketeering, bribery, conspiracy, Hobbs Act conspiracy, tax charges, and other crimes, federal law enforcement officials announced today.

Dimora, 57, of Independence, Ohio, was convicted on 32 counts.

More than 50 people, including two judges, the county auditor, and now a former county commissioner, have been convicted in the federal investigation into corruption in Cuyahoga County. Cuyahoga County is the largest county in Ohio and includes Cleveland.

“This trial exposed a broken system in which Dimora used his official position for personal gain—in effect turning public service into self-service,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Ann C. Rowland, who supervises the Major Fraud and Corruption Unit in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio. “We hope that today’s sentence sends a clear message to those who might be tempted to take bribes or pay bribes in the future.”

Stephen D. Anthony, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Cleveland Office, said, “Although we now know Mr. Dimora will be spending a considerable time behind bars, this is no time to sit back or in any way lessen our efforts to root out corruption throughout Northeast Ohio, wherever it may be. If anything, seeing what pervasive corruption can do to a community, has caused us to redouble our efforts to identify, pursue, and hold accountable those that choose to serve themselves rather than their constituents.”

“When a public official elects to betray the public’s trust for personal gain, the very core of how and why our system of government operates is immediately and negatively impacted,” said Darryl Williams, Special Agent in Charge Internal Revenue Service (IRS)-Criminal Investigation, Cincinnati Field Office.

Dimora took more than $166,000 worth of bribes in the form of cash, home improvements, lavish meals at high-end restaurants, services from prostitutes, gambling trips to Las Vegas and Canada, and other items, according to testimony.

The bribes were paid in exchange for Dimora’s efforts to steer contracts to allies, get jobs, and raises for associates, intercede with judges on pending cases, lobby for grants and favorable loans for people who paid him, and other official actions, according to testimony.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Antoinette T. Bacon, Ann C. Rowland, and Nancy L. Kelley following an investigation by the FBI and IRS-Criminal Investigation. The case agents were FBI Special Agents R. Michael Massie and Christine C. Oliver and IRS Special Agent Kelly Fatula.

The Cuyahoga County corruption investigation is ongoing.
